Hichilema Takes Early Lead as Presidential Results Continue
President Hakainde Hichilema has taken an early lead over Brian Mundubile in the presidential vote count, according to figures from 27 of the 226 constituencies.
The latest figures show Hichilema with 243,509 votes, while Mundubile has accumulated 161,883 votes. The difference currently stands at 81,626 votes, giving Hichilema a significant advantage at this stage of the counting process.
However, these figures should be treated as an early snapshot rather than a final election result, as results from the remaining constituencies are yet to be announced and verified.
